FOURTH COMMUNICATION To all participants in the I International Hermeneutics Conference: Due to an unexpected candidacy for the European Parliament, Prof. Gianni Vattimo has had to cancel all his engagements in Buenos Aires, including his appearances at the I International Hermeneutics Conference, the Book Fair and the Buenos Aires Culture Ministry. We profoundly regret the absence of such an important figure in the world of Hermeneutics. For this reason, and expecting that the contingency of political negotiations may revert the situation, we waited some time to communicate the cancellation of his trip. However, the vast response to the call for papers from prestigious centres both national and international, in addition to the presence of other important figures in the field, guarantees the accomplishment of our mission. With due apologies for this circumstance beyond our control, we attach a letter from Prof. Vattimo in which he explains the reasons for his absence in the scheduled activities.
